Allison Becker confident Liverpool have what it takes to beat Chelsea

Liverpool goalkeeper Allison Becker is confident that his team has what it takes to beat European champions, Chelsea, at Anfield this weekend.

The Reds are prepared to take on the blues as both teams look forward to winning their 3rd consecutive match in the Premier League this season, as both sides have recorded two wins from their opening two games, scoring five goals and conceding none.

Chelsea defeated Arsenal last weekend after beating Crystal Palace in their opening match at Stamford while Liverpool on the other hand defeated Norwich City and Burnley to clinch their two victories of the new Premier League season.

Allison Becker is confident the Reds will take all three points. Asked how important a win over Chelsea would be, he replied: "I think for what we believe and for what we want to achieve, it's a good sign because you are playing one of the favorite sides in the title race, and if you can beat one of these sides it's always good for you to give confidence.

"It's a good sign for everybody, not only for us, for the others. "We won the league before and we know that we need to think always about the next challenge that we have in front of us, so this game is important.

"Of course it's big, but we don't want to make it look bigger than it is.

"It's the same three points as playing against other teams, so we have to give 100 percent to achieve this goal.
