Chelsea as a club is one of many clubs that show interest in River Plate defender Luciano Vera, according to reports. Also, the sought-after Argentina Under-17 international is being monitored by Italian heavyweights Lazio and French outfit Lyon.
The blues are looking forward to spending funds significantly in the upcoming transfer window in order to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.
Chelsea had already spent a sum of £90 million on RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner and Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech.
Frank Lampard is showing an interest in Real Madrid sticker Luna Jovic and Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Harvertz.
Cheaper talents are also on the horizon. Sao Paulo teenager Gustavo Maia, Monaco's Malamine Efekele and Sparta Praque forward Adam Hlozek have all been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
However, according to French publication FootMercato, Luciano Vera, River Plate defender has been added to the list of youthful talent.

Luciano Vera, 18 years of age has made appeared 14 times for Argentina's Under-17 squad- he operates primarily as a right-back but he has also been deployed on the opposite flank.
Vera has never made a senior appearance for River Plate, however, that has not stopped European giants from taking an interest in him.
According to FootMercato, they claim that the Blues are not unmoved by his qualities and that he would be a good very affordable addition this summer.
