LEI VS MNU: Can Man Utd Continue Their Unbeaten Away Record At The King Power Stadium?

Following the conclusion of the international break, Manchester United will travel to the King Power Stadium later today where they will take on Leicester City in what will be unarguably the Premier league game of the week. The match which is scheduled to kick-off by 15:00 West Africa Standard time will mark the 31st meeting between these two sides in the top flight since 1992. However, since losing 2-0 to Liverpool at Anfield back in January 2020, the Red Devils have not lost an away game in the Premier league. Statistically, they have gone 29 matches without defeat, which is the longest by any team in the top flight.

Needful to say that this impressive away record is perhaps Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's biggest achievement as the club's manager, but each time United face a Premier league team away from home, that record is usually being threatened and today will be no different. However, In terms of quality and performance, the Red contingent of Manchester are way ahead of the Foxes and seeing that they haven't lost in their last six visits to the King Power Stadium gives them the advantage going into the encounter.

With both sides looking to bounce back from their previous draws, it will definitely be an exciting game to watch and should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer get his team playing in the right direction, then there's no reason to believe they can't extend their unbeaten away record.
