Spanish giants, FC Barcelona are set to bring in Ronald Koeman as manager to kick start their summer spending. The club's hierarchy agree that something must be done to avoid a repeat of last season's woes that ended with an 8-2 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Múnich in the Champions league.
Dutchman, Ronald Koeman looks set to take over the reins from Quique Setien and his close to agreeing a three year deal to bring the Dutchman to the club.
Koeman played for Barcelona at a point in his career as a defender and a midfielder and has managed several high profile jobs including Valencia, PSV, Southampton and Everton and is currently with the Netherlands national team as the Head coach.
Other likely candidates to take the job include Mauricio Pochettino, and former player, Xavi Hernández.
The final decision to bring Koeman in will depend on the results of a meeting that will take place today amongst the club's board members.
