Checkout This Strong Squad That Could Have Made Super Eagles One Of The Best Teams In The World

Nigeria as a country that participates in football activities has missed out on some great players who could have changed the nature and standard of the country's Super Eagles team. Many European footballers could have represented Nigeria but they dumped the Country for top European countries.

After a brief look into the numbers of Players that ignored Nigeria's call plus the good ones representing the country presently, I drafted a lineup that features the Nigerian Players playing for other countries and the ones playing for Nigeria presently. With Gernot Rohr as the Coach of the team, I believe this "imaginary" lineup would have been a great threat to the likes of France, Italy, Argentina and Brazil.

Some of the Nigerians Indigenes playing for other Countries include; David Alaba, Tammy Abraham, Bukayo Saka, Fikayo Tomori, Dele Alli & Ross Barkley, these players are placed in the same squad with other great footballers who are representing Nigeria at the moment. See the line up below;

I believe the skills of the players above would have posed threat to other teams if they were lined up together as a team and they all would have contributed immensely to the progress of the Country at the international football level. For those who might be confused about the nationality of the players listed above, we would take a brief look into how the players are related to Nigeria.

David Alaba is a Nigerian born to Prince George Alaba from Ogun state in Nigeria, Tammy Abraham is from Bayelsa state in Nigeria, Bukayo Saka was given birth to by Yomi and Adenike Saka, (a Yoruba couple who moved from Nigeria to London because of work), Fikayo Tomori is an Indigene of Osun in Nigeria, Dele Alli is a son to Kehinde Alli from the Yoruba tribe, while Ross Barkley is a Nigerian born to Peter Effanga.
