Barcelona has received a huge boost as star defender, Gerard Pique is now back to training on the grass. The Spaniard was injured his right knee late last year during a La Liga match against Atletico Madrid and has been out of action for a few months now.
Pique is now back to training on the grass and could be on time for Barcelona's Champions League home clash against PSG. Although he is not training with the group yet, he is doing individual training and the atmosphere is very positive. Pique's return to training on the grass also happens to be on his birthday. The Spaniard celebrates his 34th birthday today. Below are pictures from his training today:
Pique is expected to be partnered by Uruguayan Centre Back Ronald Araujo who is on brilliant form at the backline for Barcelona. Clement Lenglet's worrying form may see him drop to the bench upon Pique's return.
