Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, Rejoins Kano Pillars After 10 Years

The captain of the Nigerian National Team, Ahmed Musa, has finally rejoined Kano Pillars, NTA reports.

It’s learnt that the 28-year-old rejoined the Nigeria Professional Football League side on a flexible short-term deal, as he is yet to land a foreign team.

Ahmed Musa remained without a club since October he left a club known as Al Nader in Saudi Arabia.

His transfer to Kano Pillars was completed few days ago, but the full details have been made public.

However, his return to Kano Pillars could rejuvenate his career.

Musa scored 25 NPFL goals for Juth FC & Kano Pillars in the 2009 & 2010 seasons and was the highest goal scorer for Pillars with 18 goals alone.

His latest move has sparked reactions on social media, with a lot of people saying that though he didn't have better offers, but choosing to grace our league shows patriotism.

That there are some veterans who will rather remain in their house than earn in Naira.
