For Norwich City's visit to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will be without £97.5million striker Romelu Lukaku. With the Canaries still looking for their first win of the season, the league leaders will face the Premier League's bottom club.
After an awful start to the season that saw six straight defeats, Daniel Farke's side will be buoyed by back-to-back draws and clean sheets.
Chelsea have only dropped points in two games so far, losing to Manchester City and Liverpool. The Blues bounced back from a Champions League loss to Juventus with a convincing win over Malmo, the Swedish champions.
Chelsea won 4-0 on Wednesday thanks to an Andreas Christensen goal and a goal from Kai Havertz sandwiched between two Jorginho penalties.
However, Thomas Tuchel's side did not escape without a few scratches and bruises, as Romelu Lukaku was hauled off after 23 minutes against Malmo with a twisted ankle. Timo Werner was forced off in the first half of the 4-0 win at Stamford Bridge due to a hamstring injury.
Although the extent of their injuries is unknown, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel expects both will miss a few games. "It'll take a while," Tuchel said after the game. “More tests are needed to be more precise, but they will be unavailable for some matches.
Norwich City's visit could see Hakim Ziyech return after missing last Saturday's 1-0 win over Brentford due to headaches he suffered while on international duty. Christian Pulisic has been absent since September, with no indication of when he would return. Lukaku is expected to be replaced by Kai Havertz against the Canaries.
