The Barcelona female team or FC Barcelona Femení as they are translated to took to their official social media pages about an hour ago to celebrate winning their Primeria division leave title, their 6th time of winning the competition.
A 1:0 win against Granada earlier today sealed the title win for the top Spanish side who up until now are still unbeaten in the League after 26 matches. Today's win increased their number of points to 78, and with Levante trailing behind them at 62 points. The victory sealed the win as it made it virtually impossible for any other team to go atop them on the table.
Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala has been very instrumental for the team in this title victory as the 26 year old has bagged 20 goals for the club this season, 16 in the local league and four in the UEFA women's Champions League of which they will face Chelsea in the finals.
Congratulations to Asisat Oshoala and the Barcelona Feminí
