Opinion: Why Jadon Sancho Always Look Confused At His Teammates' Positioning And Movement

Leicester City has failed to win 6 out of their last 7 games but has beaten a Manchester United side that has Ronaldo, Pogba, Sancho, Greenwood, Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, to get back to their winning ways. Jadon Sancho has played 10 games into his Manchester United career but he is yet to score or assist. The big question is, why does the former Borrusia Dortmund forward look perpetually confused at his teammates' positioning and movements?.

Whenever he gets the ball and he lifts his head to see where everyone is, he then realises that no one is making runs to the front or making smart runs from behind or even taking up dangerous positions, this ends up making him look confused, because the players are mostly so static. From his time at Dortmund, Sancho had Haaland who knows how to take up dangerous positions, making it easy for him to create and equally score himself.

If he continues this way at Manchester United, he is definitely going to end up as a wasteful talent at the club, because the manager is not only clueless, he is also not knowledgeable enough to bring out the best out of the young talent. A tweak in the system or a change of tactics from the manager would definitely bring out more from Sancho. The 21 year-old is the only player in the club that is very good at playing 1-2 touches and he will definitely turn out to be one of the best players in the club.
