Real Madrid's Strongest Lineup If They Sign Mbappe, Pogba And Sterling In 2022

Real Madrid are expected to have a big summer in 2022, with a slew of big-name players linked with a move to the LaLiga giants.

Madrid, along with Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad, currently leads the Spanish league and have had a solid start to the season.

Carlo Ancelotti's team have had a different story in the Champions League, with the 13-time champions losing in a dramatic fashion against Sheriff.

Sergio Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, giving Madrid a mixed summer transfer market.

Despite the fact that Kylian Mbappe was entering the final year of his contract, they made two massive proposals for him, but PSG refused to accept any offers.

The club could have a big transfer window next summer, with some of Europe's greatest players joining.

Mbappe is expected to depart PSG on a free transfer in the summer, with Real Madrid leading the race to get him. The 22-year-old stated that he had requested to leave the Ligue 1 club, but that his request had been turned down.

In January, when the player is allowed to sign a pre-contract deal with another club, Madrid president Florentino Perez intimated that something could be done.

Another player who Madrid might get on a free transfer next summer is Paul Pogba. The Red Devils want a decision on his future made by Christmas to avoid the matter hanging over them for the rest of the season, when they are hoping to compete for prizes.

Sterling's press statements have fueled speculation over his future, with the player admitting that he would desire more playing time.

He also stated that he would be open to moving abroad, which has led to his signature being linked to Madrid. Sterling's desire to play in Europe if he leaves the Etihad has made Real Madrid his most likely destination.

Los Blancos have emerged as 4/1 favourites to sign the 26-year-old winger, having been interested in a move in past summers.
