The UEFA Champions League is back this week and it brings some amazing fixtures with it. As we all know, the first Champions League Matchday of the season was entertaining but Matchday 2 plans to be more entertaining.
UEFA Champions League Matchday 2 will feature quite a few tough clashes with top European clubs.
With that, let's take a look at the five serious UEFA Champions League matches to watch out for on Matchday 2.
AC Milan and Atletico Madrid will be struggling to register their first wins of the new Champions League season as they play at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
Both AC Milan and Atletico Madrid will be looking forward to giving fans an exciting and unpredictable encounter. Tough match indeed!
2. Porto FC vs Liverpool
Porto and Liverpool have played against every eight times to date and Liverpool have never lost to Porto as they have won five times.
Their match will be played at Estadio do Dragao Stadium on Tuesday night as both teams will be desperate for a win, which means it will be one of the most competitive clashes this UCL season.
Manchester United will be revenging their loss in the UEFA Europa League final last season against Villarreal and that will happen in the UEFA Champions League at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Manchester United is in desperate need of a win after suffering three losses in their last four matches while Villarreal has drawn six of the seven matches they've played across all competitions this season.
This means that the two top clubs will be waiting for any one of them to make a mistake which seems to make the match tough and hot.
I think Manchester United needs a win against Villarreal in the Matchday 2 of the UCL.
4. Juventus vs Chelsea
Two of Juventus's key players Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala were forced off the field due to injury and that will seriously affect their clash against Chelsea who has a strong defensive line and is the reigning champions of Europe.
After the Blues lost their EPL clash against Manchester City, they have reinforced their manpower and could bounce back on Juventus. Chelsea players will be traveling to Turin for their clash on Wednesday night against Juventus who won Malmo 3-0 in their Champions League opener.
5. PSG vs Manchester City
The clash between PSG and Manchester City will undoubtedly be an absolute hot match and is the game every football fan needs to watch out for in UEFA Champions League Matchday 2.
These five matches promise to be tough looking at the level of top clubs involved and the good number of experienced players who will be featured. Football fans will be expecting so much from their different favorite clubs this week.
