According to The Athletic, the Blues are close to announcing the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayern Leverkusen with only the only small matter of player's personal terms left to sort before the transfer can be finalised.
Chelsea's manager, Frank Lampard is said to spoken to the player personally, just as he did to Timo Werner before bringing him to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are currently leading the race for the 21 year old attacking midfielder and are willing to meet the demand from the Bundesliga side, Bayern Leverkusen who are putting a price tag of £73million.
Chelsea are willing to pay around £65m up front, before adding £15m in adds-ons for the German international.
The likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have shown interest in the German international but it seems Chelsea are likely to get his signature in the coming days.
