
The former Eaglets captain, Samson Tijani has successfully joined the Austrian Bundesliga Champions Red Bull Salzburg in a 5-year contact deal. The Austrian Champions has announced the signing of the 18-year-old ex Eaglets Captain who plays as a defensive midfielder in Nigerian club Collins Edwin SC before
joining the club.
Samson Tijani has exhibited the quality he is made of by representing Nigeria in 17 appearances in the Under 17, with which he was able to make to the semifinals of the African Cup and round 16 of the World cup.
Tijani whose dynamic style of play can not be overemphasized and also feels comfortable in the role of six , expressed satisfaction for sealing the 5 year contact with the 14 times Austrian League title winners. He however asked for total supports from the fans after expressing happiness to be in the club.
I believed this is a good news for Nigerian football league and I wish him success.
