Chelsea rarely buy injury-prone players because of the harsh terrain of the Premier League. However, over recent seasons, some Chelsea forwards have been having niggling injury problems and among them is Christian Pulisic.
Chelsea signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 and although the American winger has shown that he can cope at Chelsea, he has been having recurring injuries for Chelsea. For some Chelsea fans he reminds them of a certain Arjen Robben.
Arjen Robben also had recurring injuries at Chelsea and was later sold to Real Madrid because of his injuries. Chelsea sold Robben in 2007 after he spent three years at the club.
Arjen Robben was also a winger just like Christian Pulisic and after Chelsea sold him, he found a home at Bayern Munich and went on to become one of the best wingers of his generation.
Currently, Christian Pulisic’s injuries is frustrating for many Chelsea fans that really like seeing the American play for their club.
Pulisic has not played for Chelsea since August and there are talks that he could be sold because of his recurring injuries at Chelsea- Chelsea should not sell him like they sold Robben.
When fit, Pulisic is the best Winger that Chelsea have in their squad, and Thomas Tuchel needs to be patient with the forward. Pulisic showed how important he can be for Chelsea in the run up to Chelsea UEFA Champions League win last season.
He has scored one EPL goal this season already and when he comes back, hopefully he will continue his good form for Chelsea.
