Thomas Tuchel made it 19 games with just two defeats suffered, as his Chelsea team knocked out Pep Guardiola's Manchester City from the Fa cup semi-final and advanced into the last two of the prestigious cup competition.
Chelsea have been in tremendous form since the German boss took over, as they look more organized as a team, and such can be attested to from the results they have gotten in their last 19 games.
Recall that prior to his appointment as Chelsea boss, the blues were struggling domestically under Frank Lampard as they languished in 10th position. But all that seems to have changed under the German tactician Thomas Tuchel.
Speaking after the famous win at Wembley yesterday, Tuchel went on to reveal the key behind Chelsea's recent success, as he linked it with their massive defensive improvements.
He had this to say about Chelsea's impressive form recently,
"We are very strong in defensive numbers and statistics. That belongs to the courage of the players. We defend very, very actively and aggressively with huge solidarity. This is the key, on this level it is like this, everyone needs to attack and defend".
What do you make of Chelsea's success under Tuchel, do you agree with him?
Please do well to like and follow for more Chelsea updates thanks.
