Liverpool have been heavily linked with several defenders as they are in search of a replacement for Dejan Lovren, who is likely to make his exit out of the club in the upcoming summer transfer.
The Merseyside Red are reportedly planning a summer move to secure the services of RB Leipzig centre back, when the transfer window is reopened.
The 22 years old who has established himself as a key player for the Bundesliga outfits, has been in a stunning form, which has been reported to have impressed the Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp and made him interested in landing the signature of the RB Leipzig star.
Liverpool have reportedly identified the defender as a possible replacement for Dejan Lovren, and a backup option for for Trent Alexander-Arnold in the coming weeks.
The Merseyside Red could however face stiff competitions from Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain as they have been credited with a strong interest for the player, who they have also identified as a replacement for their defender Thomas Meunier, who will be departing the Parc de princes in the upcoming summer transfer.
Nordi Mukiele has made 35 appearances in all competitions for the German club during this current campaign.
