Barcelona are underperforming both at Laliga and Champions league. They are set to reinforce their squad and compete for more trophies but inorder to do so, some players must depart from the club and pave way for new signings.
Barcelona newly elected president Laporta is planning to make some changes to the team but before that can be done top players like Antonie Greizmann, braithwaite and philipe countinho may exit the club so as to make way for more new signings.
Take a look at some players who might prove difficult for barcelona to get rid of.
The former juventus playmaker has failed to make an impact to barcelona midfield. He was not able to secure a place for himself at barcelona.
The amortisation cost is 45m euros after his arrival from juventus to barcelona with 60m euros, no club will be willing to pay that amount.
Among the players who are set to depart from the club is Greizmann. He has not been impressive since his arrival at barcelona.
If barcelona successfully sign either Haaland or Aguero to the club, this could end Antonie Greizmann spell at the club.
It could be extremely difficult for barcelona to sell Antonie Greizmann. His 120m euros arrival to the club means his amortisation fee will be 72m euros. No club will be willing to pay for that.
Philipe countinho may also be loaned out, since his arrival at the club in January 2018, the player has not been at his best for barcelona.
He is currently injured and he could soon depart from barcelona. There are still 48m euros in amortisation but no club may be willing to pay that amount. Martin braithwaite may also depart from barcelona.
