Aside from being an ardent fan of the Chelsea Football Club, Governor Yahaya Bello is also a great admirer of Nigerian footballers. He has invited numerous Nigerian footballers, some of which include Kanu Nwakwo, Jay-Jay Okocha, Musa Ahmed, and today the governor invited Ex-Super Eagles Player, Mikel Obi.
Earlier today, photos of the governor with the Ex-Super Eagle Player, Mikel Obi was posted on Facebook through his official Facebook account, the photo was captioned – “Earlier today, I received in the audience my dear brother and friend Mikel Obi Ex-Super Eagles International, the future is bright for the Nigerian youth”. Mikel Obi also presented the governor with the Nigerian football jersey with the name White Lion written on the back.

Reacting to the photo, lots of fans and Kogites took to the comment section to shower praises on the governor and footballer, a Facebook user identified as Kelvin K. Ibrahim said: “Kudos to my strongest youngest and brilliant governor in History of time, your legacy in unifying Nigerians youths through a diverse profession is indeed a footprint in the sand of time that can never be washed in a hurry, no matter how hard Tsunami strike” another user reacted saying “Congratulations your Excellency, that’s my Governor”.

Recall that a few days ago, the Governor also welcomed UFC Welterweight Champion, Usman Kamarudeen to Kogi State, and the UFC Fighter presented the Governor with a souvenir.
