Super Eagles of Nigeria star Zaidu Sanusi was exceptional for FC Porto football club on Tuesday evening, as he came from the bench to inspire them to a remarkable 1-0 victory over Italian serie A giants AC Milan football club in the UEFA Champions League.
The former Santa Clara football club left-back was dropped to the bench by coach Sergio Conceicao and he was able to impress after being introduced in the early minutes of the second half.
Zaidu Sanusi replaced Brazilian star Wendell in the 46th minutes, and he was exceptional for the home team in the game.
Both teams efforts to break the deadlock in the first half of the game were not successful, as the first half ended goalless.
Colombia national team star Luis Diaz opened scoring for the home team in the 65th minutes through a fine teamwork from Mehdi Taremi and Zaidu Sanusi to end the match 1-0.
Zaidu Sanusi was superb for FC Porto after being introduced to the pitch, and he was able to play a vital role in his team's deserved victory.
The victory over AC Milan football club has now taken FC Porto to the 3rd spot of group B in the UEFA Champions League table with 4 points from 3 matches played.
