Real Madrid football club of Spain has been dealt an injury blow as star player suffers hamstring while representing the national team, according to Goal.
Eden Hazard was part of the Red Devils squad that faced World Champion, France in the semi-finals of the Nations League on Thursday. Belgium eventually lost the match by 2 goals to 1 despite scoring first.
The former Chelsea attacker was substituted in the 75th minute of the match after picking the injury and that has kept Real Madrid fans alerted by the recent development.
However, Belgian head coach Roberto Martinez confirms that the player got injured but he failed to say the exact issue but he said it could be a knock.
Hazard will likely return to Santiago Bernabeu earlier than expected so that he will be fully assessed and the time he will be spending on the sideline will be confirmed.
Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that the player is not sidelined for too long as the club has numerous fixtures ahead of them.
