Zinedine Zidane Release Real Madrid Squad To Face Bilbao

Real Madrid will travel to the San Mames to face Bilbao on Sunday evening. It's a game that Zinedine Zidane cannot afford to drop points given the close race in the La Liga title.

It's been gathered that Real Madrid are currently second in the league and they are two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.

The La Liga title seems to be the only trophy available for Real Madrid who are struggling with fitness with some senior players in the squad.

On Saturday afternoon, Zinedine Zidane has named his squad for Sunday's game against Athletic at San Mamés. The game is expected to kick off 6:30pm GMT.

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Altube.

Defenders: E. Militão, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, Miguel.

Midfielders: Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco, Blanco.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Mariano, Rodrygo.

The final training session went down this afternoon and some players were reportedly absent.

Following the list released by Zinedine Zidane, Toni Kroos was missing as he's currently self isolating after he had contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

Also, Sergio Ramos is expected to miss the remaining games of the season because he's struggling with a hamstring problem. It's been gathered that defenders Dani Carvajal and Rafael Varane are unavailable for the game while Lucas Vazquez remains a long time absentee at the moment.
