Switzerland captain and goalkeeper Yann Sommer had an impressive performance against Spain with nine saves after full and extra time. The goalkeeper also made the first save that gave his side the lead during the penalty shoot out.
Sommer saved the game-winning penalty against World Cup champions France, advancing Switzerland to the quarter-finals.The goalkeeper is the first in the tournament to make the most saves in a single game, and he is currently one of the goalkeepers with the most saves in the Euro 2020.
According to the sofa score, he was the man of the match after a fantastic performance and the highest rated player in the game.The goalkeeper gave up an early goal against Spain as a result of a defensive blunder by Switzerland.
