The Athletic have stated out a report written by David Ornstein this morning confirming that Chelsea FC are closing in on a deal to secure the signature of Germany international, Kai Havertz from the Bindesliga's giants, Bayer Leverkusen, with personal terms all but done.
This is quite a remarkable news, and it seems like qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the Frank Lampard's side is not essential for this deal to be finalised.
