The Champions League 2nd leg of the quarter finals began today, giving its viewers and club's supporters some moments to remember and enjoy and also disappointing moments to regret.
With only two fixtures to play today, Chelsea hosted FC Porto, having a two goal advantage from the first leg of the round, which ended 0:2 in Chelsea's favour. However, Taremi scored for Porto in the dime minutes of the game, ending the game 0:1, with Chelsea winning 2:1 on aggregate, qualifying for the semi finals.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich, the defending champion visited PSG, with PSG having a three goal advantage from the first leg of the round, which ended 2:3, in PSG favour. However, Bayern opened the score sheet with Choupo-Moting scoring at the 40th minutes. The game ended 0:1, and 3:3 on aggregate, with PSG qualifying for the semi finals on away goals.
However, Bayern visits Wolfsburg for their next fixture on Saturday in the Bundesliga, and Chelsea take on Manchester City in the semi finals of the FA Cup. This is where both teams currently stand in their respective leagues.
