EPL: 3 Worst Players After Last Weekend's Matches

The Premier League was in action last weekend as ten (10) matches were played on matchday 12. Last weekend's matches saw Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea picking crucial three points while Manchester United and Arsenal crumbling to humiliating defeats.

Chelsea retain their place on top of the table while Manchester City and Liverpool won their matches convincingly to close the gap on Chelsea. Arsenal loss saw them drop a little on the table while Tottenham win helped them topple Manchester United in the title race.

The Premier League saw players like Trent Arnold, Cancelo, Ben Chilwell and Conor Gallagher perform exceptionally well while some were not at their very best. Let's take a look at the top four (4) worst players in the Premier League after the completion of the weekend's matches.

1. Harry Maguire - Man United:

Rating: -1/10

Harry Maguire has not been in good form for Manchester United this season and was one of the worst players on the pitch for Manchester United against Watford. His error lead to Joshua King first goal of the game and he ended the game with a red card.

When Manchester United was fighting to get back in the game, Harry Maguire committed a huge blunder by getting a second yellow card that reduced his team to ten men.

2. Nuno Tavares - Arsenal:

Rating: 2/10

Nuno Tavares has been in good form for Arsenal but had a disastrous performance in the weekend's game against Liverpool. He was dribbled on several occasions but Mohamed Salah and Trent Arnold and gave away a cheap pass. It was his reckless backward pass that led to Diogo Jota's goal and also made mistake in the fourth goal of the game.

3. Wilfred Ndidi - Leicester City:

Rating: 3/10

Not one of Wilfred Ndidi's best games for Leicester as he was totally outplayed and outclassed by the impressive Ngolo Kante. It was supposed to be Wilfred Ndidi vs Ngolo Kante midfield battle but the game ended one-sided as Ngolo Kante had the upper hand in the game while Ndidi struggle to coordinate the midfield for Leicester City. Ndidi ended up giving misplaced passes and was dominated by Ngolo Kante in the game.
