UEFA Champions League

Just a day to their CL game, 11 players test positive for Corona virus as Ajax faces huge blow

Ajax has been dealt a huge blow ahead of their Champions league clash against Denmark side, Midjylland. Ajax who have gathered just one point in their first two Champions league games would hope to grab a more likely maximum points against Midjylland. The Denmark side has lost both of their group games against Atalanta and Liverpool and would also hope to get something from the game against Ajax.

However, it is a most win game for the Dutch side but they will have to do that without 11 first team players. That's going to be really difficult but it's quite achievable for an Ajax team who's got great quality. The club confirmed the likes of Andre Onana, Davy Klaassen, Dusan Tadic, Ryan Gravenberch, and Maarten Stekelenburg among those staying home. Though, there is still a good chance of winning tomorrow as David Neres, Daley Blind, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Quincy Promes and Nicolas Tagliafico are all safe to play in Denmark.
