'Resume Football at the end of 2021', WHO advises UEFA

The World Health Organization (WHO) has advised The heads of European football to suspend all footballing activities till the end of 2021.

This advice is given amid the Covid-19 pandemic that is ravaging the whole world and has shut down football for the past 40 days.

There has been different speculations by Presidents of each league on the resumption date of football league as they are planning to complete the season while playing behind closed doors.

However, this has been advised against by World Health Organisation that football leagues in Europe should be suspended till the end of 2021.

This was reported according to the online media Placar and then reported by many sport pages on the media.

Non of the president of the Europe top five leagues has responded to this development.

However, there have been called by fans and players alike to cancel the 2019/20 season all together, while others advised that the league should be concluded as it is while handling the league cup to the league leaders.
