Nigerian Born Trio Bemoans Weekend's Defeat In Portugal

Nigeria born and eligible trio of Onyemaechi Sopuruchukwu, Oche Ochowechi and Mathias Ogwuche tasted defeat for the first time since teaming up with Portuguese based side, CD Feriense.

High flying CD Feriense were condemned to it's first defeat against, Leixoes FC, at the weekend after enjoying a long unbeaten record streak .

Inconsistent Leixoes FC welcomed league leaders, CD Feriense, with a sole objective of improving its position on the log in one of the Matchday 8 fixtures of the current Liga Portugal 2 campaign.

In the quest to maintain it's position on the log, in-form CD Feriense went toe to toe away from home against Leixoes in one the Matchday 8 fixtures at the Weeknd.

Coach Ferreira.R tutored, CD Feriense, side kept to game plan in the explosive fixture as they were abel to hold the host to a barren draw at the end of the first halve.

On return for the second halve, Leixoes FC Nigerian born striker, Adewele Sapara, broke the deadlock at the 56mins to put the home side into lead.

All effort by, CD Feriense, to restore parity proved furtile with it's pain getting more worse rather as Portuguese born second halve substitute, Kiki, doubled his side lead at the 618mins.

In bid to rekindle the spark upfront, CD Feriense, gaffer threw into the foray Nigerian duo of Oche Ochowechi and Mathias Ogwuche as the team were finally condemned to a defeat after a long while at the blast of the final whistle.

Speaking after the disappointing game, Nigerian trio of Onyemaechi Sopuruchukwu, Oche Ochowechi and Mathias Ogwuche rued the club defeat as they described the game generally 'a bad day in office' but remained optimistic of the the team bouncing back to winning ways from its next fixture.
