EPL: Thomas Partey Scores First Goal For Arsenal

Arsenal was in action against Aston Villa in the Premier League and Arsenal star player Thomas Partey was able to get on the scoresheet to set a new record for himself.

Partey's first goal for Arsenal came after 49 attempts according to reports.

Partey put Arsenal in front in the 23rd-minute of the first half of the match with a fine header from a corner kick delivered by Emile Smith Rowe.

It's the 28-year-old 40th appearance in all competition for the Gunners. He's occasionally good for a screamer from a distance but it was a header from a corner that opens his account for Arsenal.

Arsenal then revels in Partey mood to down below-par Aston Villa and pile pressure on Dean Smith.

A revitalized Arsenal made it look easy against Villa by blasting their way to a 3-1win at the Emirates with Emile Smith Rowe and Aubameyang also on the scoresheet.
