An angry Graeme Souness has blasted Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes for his grumpiness, in Portugal's defeat by Germany. Souness who was a former coach feels "Bruno Fernandes would not have lasted more than five minutes in his dressing room". The Scottish former professional football player, manager, and current pundit on Sky Sports had strong words to say about Bruno Fernandes' attitude toward Portugal. He felt instead of complaining the Portuguese should have given his best.
Bruno Fernandes has struggled to make an impact at Euro 2020, struggling to replicate his club form on the international stage. The midfielder cut a frustrated figure during their 4-2 defeat by Germany. The midfielder aimed at his teammates, on a couple of occasions before he was substituted in the 64th minute. Souness was unimpressed by his attitude, the player turned pundit was left disgusted by this attitude. He felt the Manchester United midfielder needs to know his place when representing his country.
