Manchester United Football Club confirmed earlier today that Axel Tuanzebe will spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Aston Villa.

Before moving out on loan, the 23-year-old signed a new five-year contract with Manchester United that will keep him at the club until June 2023 with the option of a year’s extension.

Meanwhile, for Tuanzebe, it’s a return to Villa Park for a third spell with the Midlands club. Tuanzebe is now the 7th player to leave Manchester United on loan this summer.

Manchester United rates Tuanzebe highly and there is a strong belief that he will develop into a very good center-back and play for Manchester United in the future.
