Some clubs have been very active in the transfer window after spending a lot of money on the transfer market.
Manchester City and Chelsea broke their transfer record in this summer transfer window. The City signed Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for a fee of £100 million making him the most expensive signing in the club's history. The City sold out some of their players before the summer transfer window ended but they were not as expensive as thier new signing.
Romelu Lukaku also joined Chelsea from Inter milan for a fee of £97.5 million making him the most expensive player of all time in the club's history. Chelsea also sold out some of their players including Tammy Abraham but Lukaku cost the Blues a lot of money compared to the amount Tammy Abraham departed from the club.
Manchester City also spent a lot of money in the summer transfer window after signing Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Red devils were among the biggest spenders before the summer transfer window came to an end. Manchester United didn't make a lot of money on their departed players but spent a lot money on their new signings.
Borussia Dortmund is among the most successful club in the transfer market. The Bundesliga team have made a lot of money on the transfer window after the departure of some of their best players.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ousmane Dembele, Christian Pulisic and Jadon Sancho were among the best players in the Bundesliga during their time in Borussia Dortmund.
The four players became successful with the club and were later sold out for a much higher fee.
Bayern Munich spent €36 million on signing Aubameyang, Dembele, Pulisic and Jadon Sancho. The club later earned a total amount of €348 million after their departure.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined the Gunners, Ousmane Dembele joined the Blaugrana, Christian Pulisic joined the Blues and Jadon Sancho joined the Red devils. All the four players are among the best players in the top five European leagues.
