There was a bit of turbulence in Real Madrid when Cristiano Ronaldo left the club, they scored less, sacked coaches, and it was not a good season for a side that won the Champions League the previous season. Something similar is happening in Barcelona now with the exit of Messi and the club's debt situation.
When this kind of negative situation happens in clubs, the opposition fans may be happy because it gives them an advantage and a bit of assurance that they can win the trophy. When Ancelotti recently addressed the press, he shared his opinion when he was asked about Barcelona's current bad form.
Carletto said, “I watch games, I like football, I'm not happy if things don't work out for a team, whether it's Barcelona or anyone else.” He also said he prefers to focus on his team, but he also loves watching other people play.
This, however, doesn't sound like a political response, but a genuine concern as a football fan who wishes that Barcelona recovers. I think this is also because Real Madrid will only be a better team if their biggest league competitor, Barcelona, played impressively.
As a football fan, are you happy about Barcelona's current situation, or do you share Carletto's view?
