It is unusual to see footballers retiring before the age of 25, they always clock 35 or 40 before quiting the game.
One of the defenders of Peterborough United Bobby copping has been forced to retire at the age of 19 due to a recurring head injury.
Peterborough centers-back Bobby Copping announce his retirement because of the second injury he sustained while playing for his club.
Copping join Peterborough in 2016 and he made one appearance for the club in the EFL Trophy match before he sustained an injury in the head, he then fully recover after spending four day in the hospital before he later sustained another injury not long after. Copping was a former academy player of Norwich before he proceeds to Bury academy.
Bobby Copping while announcing his retirement said " the decision was extremely heart-breaking to make and not just for me, but also for my family who has invested so much into my journey"
This is so sad we wish copping all the best.
