Three Players That Are Proving Thomas Tuchel Wrong With Their Performances After Leaving Chelsea

Thomas Tuchel has done a lot at Chelsea in terms of improving the performance of the squad and securing silverware. The German coach is also on the course of making Chelsea a dominant team in the EPL.

However, it can be observed that while the manager was in his early days at the club, he opted not to include a few of the squad members in plans even as they did well under Frank Lampard

As every manager has a different plan, a few of those players were allowed to leave the club or find playing time on loan moves. However, three of them are currently proving Thomas Tuchel wrong with their performance after leaving Chelsea.

1. Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham is one of the players that failed to get a starting place in Tuchel's time. The young striker was promoted by Lampard after performing well at the club's academy and on loan, but when Tuchel took over, much of him could not be seen.

But after moving to AS Roma, the striker appears to be proving his former coach wrong as his goal-scoring form at the Italian club is impressive. His good performances have also earned him a place in the English national team as he received a call-up to represent the team in the ongoing International activities.

2. Billy Gilmour

Tuchel also allowed Gilmour to go on a loan move as it appeared that the midfielder could not compete with other midfielders in Chelsea's team. But now, we can see that he is doing in Norwich's team. To prove that Tuchel was wrong about him, Gilmour is even part of the Canaries' first-team squad.

3. Olivier Giroud

Giroud is another player that is currently proving Tuchel wrong with a stunning performance. The Frenchman also did not find favor in Tuchel's management and left the team for AC Milan, where he started his stint with two goals.
