Former Manchester City star, Shaun Wright-Phillips, has given his candid advice to Hudson Odoi. The former Manchester City star gave the advice ahead of Chelsea's Wednesday's clash with Aston Vila in the Carabao cup.
Hudson Odoi is a talented player who has the ability to take defenders. But he has not been able to cement his plays in the starting eleven for Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel. Shaun Wright-Philips believes that Hudson Odoi could become the best player if he leaves Chelsea.
Hudson Odoi must be a great player to have attracted interest from a top club like Bayern Munich. His constant lack of playing time is becoming a thing of concern.
Check out what Wright-Philips told Metro UK about Hudson Odoi, “I think whether he decides to realize his full potential or stick to being a fringe player is totally down to him,” Wright-Phillips.
“If he wants to be in and out of the team and play a role that he is doing now, then you stay at Chelsea.
"But, if you want to play regular football and show everyone why Bayern Munich was thinking about buying him, then he’s going to have to walk away and prove to people how good he is".
