Arsenal FC are still on the look out for a new quality midfielder.
Arsenal FC have made contact with the 25 year-old Marseille talented holding midfielder, Morgan Sanson ahead of a possible switch this summer, according to latest reports in France. Le10 Sport states that the Gunners' chiefs are closely monitoring the sensational central midfielder’s situation at Orange Vélodrome.
The French ace, Morgan Sanson have been linked with a transfer to the English Premier League this summer, with 3 clubs expected to be showing interest..Originally, it emerged that Tottenham FC and West Ham United FC would lock horns together for the signature of the 25-year-old box to box midfielder, who has been outstanding in French Ligue 1.
However, the Gunners has now entered into the chase, and could move in and hijack the ace from under their arch rivals’ noses. French outlet Le10 Sport confirms that the Mikel Arteta's side officials have made first contact with Morgan Sanson’s agent ahead a possible deal. The Emirates Stadium outfit are still yet to talk about terms with the André Villas-Boas's side, but they are closely monitoring his movement.
The 25 year-old player, Morgan Sanson still have two years remaining on his deal, which means that the Les Phocéens are in no pressure to part ways with the star player and won’t be forced into doing so.
Olympique de Marseille are reportedly resigned to selling numerous players to raise funds this summer after being hit financially by the Covid'19 pandemic. Orange Vélodrome outfit will evidently cash in on players before they are able to balance books for any offers to sign new players.
