Coming on a back of a disappointing defeat against Leicester City last weekend, Manchester United played host to Atalanta in their third Champions league group game looking to get back on track. However, it wasn't a bright start for the home side who found themselves 2-0 down at half-time as another defeat stared them in the face. But United were not to be undone as they came back in the second half with a much improved performance and deservedly turned the game around to go top of group F.

He was at the heart of everything good for the Red Devils as he constantly supplied series of passes and crosses up front. His integral contributions was evident in his two beautiful assists to Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire that brought United back on level terms.
2- David De Gea
Once again, the Spaniard was at his very best with series of crucial saves, but none were more impressive than his double save in the 71st minute to his keep his team in the game. It was Atalanta's best chance in the second half, one that could have hurt United if De Gea wasn't equalled to it.
3- Cristiano Ronaldo
For the second time in the Champions league this season, Ronaldo scored a crucial comeback winning goal for the Red Devils although it wasn't in stoppage time like in the game against Villarreal. Other than his 81st minute strike, the Portugese International was heavily involved in the game tonight and he could have scored at least a hat-trick but for the opponents goal keeper.
Manchester United's collective Improved display in the second half was the catalyst, but Cristiano Ronaldo, David De Gea and Bruno Fernandes made the difference in what was a hard fought victory. The win takes the Red Devils to the summit of their group with six points as their attention will now turn to the crunch clash against Liverpool this weekend.
