Three Issues Thomas Tuchel Must Solve Before Chelsea's Next Match

As the International break is soon to be over, the EPL match between Brentford and Chelsea has already started generating headlines. Much of the analysis done by pundits are based around the encounter.

As expected, Thomas Tuchel has also started preparing his players' minds towards the match as a good number of the squad members are present at Cobham.

The Blues are also expected to see the better side of Brentford as their team's quality is beyond that of the Bees, but three problems might prevent them from playing well. These issues must also be solved by Thomas Tuchel before the match.

1. Lukaku's scoring form

Even though Lukaku is doing well in the international games, the Belgian has not been scoring as he should in his club's matches. His form keeps dropping, and it also appears that Tuchel has not found a better way of deploying him at the front.

Before the next match, this problem must be solved as the former Inter Milan striker is obviously the first-choice striker. He fits better in the club's formation, and as the attack is now built around him, Tuchel must restore his form.

2. Poor midfield connection

It is becoming hard for Chelsea's midfield to feed the attack consistently. This has somehow lowered the potency of the attack as the forwards always have to drop back. Brentford is a good side that plays with a stiff defense, and for Chelsea to be able to win with swagger, this poor midfield issue must be solved.

3. Defensive partnership

Although the Blues' defense has much strength, the center-back partnership must be sorted out before the next game. Silva finds it tough to play with Chalobah, and Alonso is also underperforming. Chilwell has also not been at his best in recent games. These three issues cannot be overlooked and should be figured out.
