Super Eagles star shines in his team home league six-goal thriller against Liverpool

Super Eagles of Nigeria midfield maestro, Frank Onyeka was in action for Brentford in their 6th league game of the season against Liverpool at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Frank Onyeka was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his incredible performance for the club in their previous game, and he was able to shine as he contributed his quota in the game which was able to earn them a crucial point which keeps them going in the competition.

The first half of the game was such an intensed one between the two sides as there was nothing to separate them which ended one all draw, courtesy of the opener from Ethan Pinnock to make it one nil in the 27th minute before Diogo Jota got levelled for the Reds in the 31st minutes to cancel out Pinnock's opener thereby making it one all draw at the break.

The tempo of the game in the second half got more tensed up as they both displayed some dazzling skills with Mohamed Salah putting his side ahead in the 54th minute to make it two goals to one before Vitaly Janelt made it 2-2 in the 63rd minute.

Curtis Jones stepped up to put the Reds ahead yet again in the 67th minute to make it three goals to two before Yoane Wissa made it 3-3 in the 82nd minute.

After several attempts from both ends to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful as it ended three all draw at full time, thereby making it no victor no vanquished.

The result of the night for Brentford means they now sit at the 9th spot on the table with 9 points in 6 games played and as such be hoping to be back to winning ways in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
