It was an entertaining match between the league Champions Inter Milan and Juventus in the week 9 of the Italian Serie A. Both teams started their strongest team but Inter Milan were more creative in the attack with the likes of Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu and Dzeko in the attack.
It was an entertaining first 20 minutes match between the two teams but Inter Milan wasted several goal scoring chances that would have giving them the lead. Juventus goal keeper Szczesny was impressive with brilliant saves that denied Inter Milan lead.
Dzeko gave Inter Milan the lead in the 17th minutes of the game after a brilliant strike at the edge of the post. The highly rated striker have been impressive this season and have scored more than 5 league goals for Inter Milan.
It was an entertaining first half performance from the two teams but Juventus became more solid with counter attacks immediately Dzeko scored the opening goal.
The likes of Morata, Cuadrado, and Manuel Locatelli created several goal scoring chances through counter attack. Dzeko's 15th minutes goal separated the two sides in the first 45 minutes of the game but Juventus started the second half of the game with higher intensity.
Good tactical change by Juventus created more goal scoring opportunities for them before they got the equalizing goal through a controversial decision by the VAR and Referee.
The Referee and the VAR might have taken the worst penalty decision in this season Serie A after awarding a penalty to Juventus in the 89th minutes of the game.
From the VAR review, the Juventus player was outside Inter Milan 18 yard box before the incident happened. The Referee was right not to have awarded the penalty at the first attempt but after the VAR review, Juventus was awarded the penalty.
This is one of the worst penalty decision in this season Italian Serie A because the Juventus player was not in Inter Milan box as seen in the photos.
Inter Milan head coach Inzaghi was shown a straight Red Card after a wild protest of the VAR decision.
It was an unfair decision from the VAR and the Referee because the foul happened outside the 18 yard box. Juventus talisman Dybala converted the spot kick to give his side the equalizing goal in the 89th minutes of the game.
