7. Paul Scholes complete games and goals
This Manchester United legend scored on his debut, even on his 100th,200th,300th,400th and even his 500th game respectively. He may have missed his 600th game but he did it again on the 700th and even though his 200th game was an owe goal,it was a goal non the less.
6. James Rodriguez curse on Ancelotti
James Rodriguez joined Real Madrid in 2014 when Carlo Ancelotti was the manger and months from that day he got sacked. Carlo Ancelotti went to Bayern Munich and the Colombian forward joined them in 2017,it didn't take long and he was relieved of his duties again. This begs the question, what's the issue between them.
5. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi versus their first sons
The age Gap between Messi and Ronaldo is 869 days and this is the exact same age difference between their first born sons. What a coincidence and who knows maybe they'd be record breaking duo in the future like their fathers.
4. The legend of a name "Luis Suarez" in Barcelona
The name Luis Suarez seems a blessing for the Barcelona club. Yes,we know the Uruguayan Luis Suarez as FC Barcelona's best and fearsome striker at the moment but there's also an extraordinary striker back in 1960 who goes by that name Luis Suarez and also played for Barcelona. He became the only Spanish player to win the ballon d'or
3. Sweden seems to be a nightmare for Italy football team
Italy has missed out off the football world cup twice in their history and one could say Sweden was the cause. The first world cup Italy missed took place in Sweden 1958 and the second was in 2018 world cup where Sweden knocked them out with a goal less draw.
2. Zambia winning the cup of nations in the same place where their 1993 team lost their lives
On the 27th day of April 1993 when the Zambia air Force crashed, the Zambia national football team lost their lives but some years later in 2012, Zambia came back on the same place and won the African cup of nations tittle by beating the tournament's favorite Ivory coast on penalties. One could say God wanted them to finish the journey their country men started.
1. Atletico Madrid winning the Europa league and it's consequence for other teams
When atletico Madrid won the Europa league in 2010, Bayern Munich finished as runners up in the champions league while Manchester United finished second in the premier league and Spurs finished fourth. Two years later in 2012 when atletico Madrid won the Europa league again, Bayern Munich finished as runners up in the champions league, Manchester United finished second and Spurs finished fourth again.
