League Tables In England, Spain, Italy And Germany After Wednesday Matches

A quick look at the league tables in England, Spain, Italy and Germany

1.Premier League

In England Manchester City continued to fasten their grip on the premier league title after a two-one win over bitter rival Aston Villa. Goals from P. Foden and Hernandez was enough to see City claim all crucial three points making it a total of 77 points, 11 points more than Manchester United. Tottenham started life without Jose Mourinho in an impressive fashion after beating Southampton two goals to one. Gareth Bale and H. Son starred under their new and young manager.

2. Laliga

Two goals from Kareem Benzema and one from A. Odriozola helped Real Madrid beat Cadiz to climb up to the summit of the Laliga table and surpassing Atletico Madrid on goal difference.

3. Serie A

In Italy, AC Milan continue to impress with a win over Sassuolo, but it seems they may have to settle for the second spot as Inter Milan are in a very good form and are not showing any signs of dropping points.

4. Bundesliga

In Germany goals from M. Reus and R. Guerreiro helped Borrussia Dortmund beat Union Berlin but they will have to do more if they want to play in the champoins league next season
