Arsenal FC have officially announced Thomas Partey's new shirt number for next season as they aim to give the Ghanian more comfort around the club.
Meanwhile, Partey wore the number '18' shirt all through his first season at Arsenal, retaining same number he wore at his previous club.
The 28-year-old featured in 36 games for Arsenal last season and registered just three assist despite facing numerous injury challenges before the end of the campaign.
However, Partey on his new number '5' shirt at Arsenal, said he likes the No 5 because it's one of the most important numbers in the team and it is also lucky number for him.
