Euros: See The Only Player That Comforted Kylian Mbappe After Missing A Penalty Vs Switzerland

Switzerland will be playing against Spain in the round of 16 after Kylian Mbappe missed a penalty that eliminated his team from the Euros competition.

Switzerland shocked the world after forcing France to a 3:3 draw before eliminating the world championships through penalty shootout.

Switzerland stared the game very well with good ball possession before Haris Seferovic scored the opening goal of the game in the 15th minutes of the first half.

It was a dissapointing first half performance from the French team after trailing Switzerland by 1:0.

Kareem Benzema equalized for France in the early minutes of the second half after converting a brilliant assist from Kylian Mbappe.

The Real madrid player scored his second goal of the game in the 59th minutes before Paul Pogba scored the third goal for France.

Switzerland responded brilliantly immediately after Paul Pogba's goal. Haris Seferovic reduced the score line to 3:2 through a brilliant header.

Grant Xhaka's excellent assist in the 90th minutes of the game gave the Switzerland a well deserved equalizing goal.

Both teams could not find the back of the net in the 30 minutes extra time before the match went straight to penalties.

Switzerland won by 5:4 in the penalty shootout after Kylian Mbappe missed the fifth one for France.

Everton player Lucas Digne was the only player that comforted Kylian Mbappe who went straight to the dressing room after missing the spot kick.

According to reports, Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud had misunderstanding before the competition started and that could be the reason why none of the players comforted the Paris Saint Germain striker.

Do you think Mbappe deserves to be nominated for this year's Ballon d'or award?
