Chelsea successfully flexed their muscle against Arsenal and Tottenham in London

Chelsea have completed their first round of London tour for the 2021/22 English premier league campaign, at least against the strongest Clubs in London.

Nuno Santos Espirito and his Tottenham Hotspurs contingent hosted Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium on Sunday evening. The host dominated the game during the first half as Tottenham outplayed Chelsea. Of course, the duo of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz playing beside Romelo Lukaku in Chelsea attack failed to produce any Goalscoring chance as the Blues failed to register a shot on target in the first half.

Thomas Tuchel made the obvious change at the beginning of the second half. He removed Mason Mount who has now had a run of poor performances against Zenit in the Champions League and on Sunday against Spurs. N'Golo Kante came on for Mason Mount and the tide turned against Tottenham.

In quick succession, Thiago Silva scored a header from a cornerkick taken by Marcos Alonso, N'Golo Kante's close range shot found its way past Hugo Lloris after deflecting off Eric Dier and Timo Werner assisted Antonio Rudiger to score Chelsea's third goal against the host.

Chelsea scored 3 goals on Spurs' turf but the Blues could have gotten more. Timo Werner did missed 2 chances before providing an assist for Antonio Rudiger. Mateo Kovavic also missed at close range after his shot hit Hugo Lloris.

Thomas Tuchel will have to work on upping the game of his attackers but the Squad will celebrate defeating their local rival at home. Chelsea scored 3 goals against Spurs and none of them was scored by a Forward. This is definitely an issue that Thomas Tuchel will have to fix going forward.

But then, Chelsea has won the two London Derbies they have played this season. Earlier on this season, Chelsea thrashed Arsenal by 2-0 at the Emirate Stadium in their second League game of the season. The Blues' away victory against Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday made it their second victory against Premier league Top 6 clubs, and second victory against a London rival.
