Tuesday Transfer News: Arsenal Set To Announce First Summer Signing

Arsenal are in no doubt one of the biggest football club in Europe and they will be looking to strengthen their squad in the summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to be preparing for next season as the club is being continuously linked with some players, and they are one of few teams who will have money to spend this summer despite the corona virus outbreak which have had an impact on the finances of football clubs.

But according to reports, Arsenal are set to announce their first signing of the summer transfer window.

A number of names have already been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium from Max Aarons to Manchester City pair Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez.

However, Arsenal's first summer deal won't cost them a single penny as The Sun have reported that Mat Ryan is set to complete a free transfer from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Australian shot-stopper has enjoyed a successful six-month loan spell at Arsenal, making three Apperances and keeping one clean sheet.

In addition, the report claim that Matt Ryan is only seen as the back-up goalkeeper, with Arsenal still in search for a new number one as Bernd Leno’s future remain uncertain.
