Sheffield United are reportedly keen on a January loan transfer for the Red Devils defender Marcos Rojo.
The Argentina international appeared for Manchester United's Under-23 side on Friday evening but hasn't been involved for the 1st team this campaign, having fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United.
Marcos Rojo joined Estudiantes on loan spell in January, but the transfer was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, and Marcos Rojo remained with Manchester United over the summer despite a host of rumours.
The Argentina defender will be out of contract next summer and is expected to depart on a free transfer, but according to The Sun, Sheffield United are hoping to take Marcos Rojo on loan spell for the 2nd half of the 2020-21 campaign.
The report claims that Blades Coach Chris Wilder has identified Marcos Rojo as the ideal replacement for Jack O'Connell, who could miss the remainder of the campaign with a serious knee problem.
The Argentina international has made 122 outings for the 20-time English champions since joining from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of year 2014.
