Barca Manager equals unwanted record after defeat to Real Madrid last night

Ronald Koeman lost his second Clasico game as Manager of Barca last night following the 2-1 defeat at the hands of the defending Champions in a rainy night at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium.

Zinadine Zidane beat Ronald Koeman with aggregate score of 5-2 over two legs this season. It was the first time since 2008 that Real Madrid have done the double over Barcelona in Laliga.

Real Madrid's big win takes them 2 places above Barca on to the Top of the Laliga standings, although city rivals Athletico Madrid have a game at hand later today.

Koeman's next game is the League cup final against Athletic Bilbao on the 17th. The Basque club recently lose the 2020 Cup final which was rescheduled to this year due to Covid-19 to Real Sociedad. They (bilbao) will be hoping to upset Barca again, just as they did in the Super cup 4 months ago.
